Constructed in 2008, the SMU Turpin Tennis Stadium provides the Mustang men's and women's tennis programs with one of the premier tennis facilities in the nation. The center includes six outdoor courts. A designated indoor tennis facility area is planned to be constructed in the future.

Turpin Stadium is located just south of the Crum Basketball Center and next to Moody Coliseum.

SMU, the only Division I athletic program in Dallas, Texas, sponsors 17 sports and has been ranked as the top school in its conference for 10 of the last 11 years in the Director's Cup overall athletic rankings.
